Dr. Contemplative Activist PhD.

Well, despite laryngitis and a tickling cough from hell, resulting in having to leave the room during my viva voce...I passed, with just minor amendments to be made to my thesis before I can deposit it, at last, in the British library never to be seen again. Hurrah!

The bad news is...I have to wear this very fetching outfit in the summer....

Wow, that was fast!

Thanks Rachie!

Congratulations!

So, the Greek chorus helped then? Or was it the interpretive dance?

Congratulations! Nearing the end of my first term of my PhD, I can't imagine what it is like to complete! You can now have a very enjoyable and well deserved Christmas break :o)

Wow, well done! Congrats.

I have that to look foward to next year. I'm writing a detailed thesis plan this month ready to get stuck into the writing over the next few months. Or I would be if I wasn't reading your blog. *grin*

Oh ... a few sad anniverseries, and I just finnished reading a very good but very depressing biography of John Paul Jones... rather likely he had ADHD... and the patterns of success tempered by the pit falls of being with out political guile... well... let's see, in spite of all this, I should come up with a good joke... A plain Quaker walks into a bar with a nun on one arm and an penguin on the other, he orders three pints and the bar tender says....

oh never mind, it wasn't that funny. Hey! drop by me old flickr site and check out the cool full moon, over the hudson early morning, etc, just click on any photo on me blog.

=)

Thick as nails, me...

I was going to check in on thy blog, but clicked on Richard in Brooklyn's first. I began to read his entry, which I had read a few weeks or days ago... forgeting that it was Richard and not thine. "I haven't blogged in a while..." he began, things troubling him... the message he gave, on the lords prayer... I was thinking, "Och... poor CA!" Then... wait... all this seems a bit... um... familier! Oh, right, I read this before, it is Richard, not C.A.!!!
Well, checking in I see thee ALSO has not blogged in a while, I hope thee takes some time to catch us all up... once again, Merry X day.
Cheers

Dear CA, it's all about the shoes, the shoes...

I found your blog thanks to Freedom Bound, and think its finely riotous in a controlled sort of way...psych that one out!

Drop in across the Pond to my blog when you have a moment. Oh that's right, you have lots of those now!

Congrats on the degree!

The shoes? What about them?

Perhaps I should find some really inappropriate shoes to wear with my graduation gown for the hell of it...what do you think? ;)

Those slippers that look like furry animals would be good :-)

Go on! You know you want to!
